Morgan Freeman’s Accident
By now you may have heard the news that at 11:30 last night Morgan Freeman was involved in a car accident and is now in critical condition at The Med in Memphis. Sources are working to find out if the passenger in his car was his assistant or wife as of now, reports are just stating female passenger. Reports state that his car flipped several times. He was just outside of Ruleville when it happened.
The film community in North Mississippi is deeply concerned and saddened by this event and hope for Freeman and his family that they will both be ok. Several of us involved with the Oxford Film festival have been emailing back and forth since the news broke an hour ago to try and find out more. We wish the best for him as he has always been such a supporter of our fest and opened last year’s festival up. We are hoping for a quick recovery!
How sad, we just heard of the story a few hours ago. Hopefully he will get better, his talent is simply irreplaceable.
