Indie Memphis Schedule Up
Indie Memphis kicks off its 12th year on Oct. 8 with opening night hosting two films: a narrative feature in competition, “That Evening Sun,” and a documentary feature in competition, “Shooting Robert King.”
Documentary Competition films include:

- The Hand of Fatima
- Luckey
- Mellodrama
- Naturally Obsessed: The Making of a Scientist
- Strongman
- Wheedle’s Grove
Narrative Competition films include:
- That Evening Sun
- The Mountain, The River and The Road
- Alexander the Last
- Stingray Sam
- Living Dark: The Story of Ted the Caver
- A Plus D

- Billy Was a Deaf Kid
- Dear Lemon Lima
- Children of Invention
- St. Nick
- Easier With Practice
Showcase Screenings include:
- Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle
- Sweethearts of the PrisonRodeo
and more.
The fest will close on Oct. 15 with local filmmaker’s narrative feature Lovely By Surprise.
